Vander Wal’s Garage’s Story

Our story began in 1942 with Peter K., a mechanic with a reputation for fixing anything that rolled through the door. His dedication to quality service and strong work ethic have been passed down to his son, Don, the current owner. Don grew up working alongside his father, learning the ins and outs of auto repair. Together with his wife, Sue, they took over the business in 1985, continuing the Vander Wal tradition of providing exceptional service to Shelton, WA, and surrounding communities.
